This exciting redevelopment project includes the restoration and expansion of the Huck Glove factory at the corner of Victoria St and Bramm St in downtown Kitchener, Ontario. An addition of a new commercial office/ retail building with six floors will rise alongside the former factory and three floors will be added above of the building. Together, they will contain over 145,000 square feet of commercial office space with ground-floor retail. The building will act as the cornerstone of a master plan that includes three residential condominium towers and a private pedestrian focused street. This project is targeting LEED Gold Certification and incorporates numerous sustainable design features including geo-thermal heat source a high efficiency HVAC, and a substantial vegetated "green" roof area.
